Broadcast

Whether it’s persuading the ITV Weather Centre to use an English Heritage garden as the focus for an outside broadcast or securing a seven minute feature on BBC Gardeners’ World, we have an excellent track record in getting our clients and their products onto the TV and radio.

As part of our campaign to mark the 80th anniversary of The National Gardens Scheme, we persuaded BBC Breakfast TV to film an outside broadcast from one of their gardens, resulting in 14 live bulletins.

The following month, we liaised with the BBC to film at two more National Gardens Scheme gardens, as part of their coverage of Chelsea Flower Show.

Being prepared to spend the time to tailor each approach to fit the format of the programme has brought us huge rewards.

For instance, when we made up a basket of watercress sandwiches for Radio 2’s Terry Wogan to raise awareness around National Watercress Week, we delivered them in person, meeting Terry as he arrived at the London studio at 6.50 am.

Terry talked about watercress five times that morning and every following day of the week. All because we are prepared to put in the hours and go the extra mile.
